One of
Kenadee's favorite holidays is Halloween. She gets so excited each year when Halloween is about here.

We made these cute cupcakes for her Kindergarten class.

She was pretty excited to take them to her class!

In our family we have a Halloween dinner tradition. Each year right before Halloween we have a "Monster dinner". And it
consists of crazy monster food. Kenadee is showing off her witch's fingers!

During the dinner we get to wear a Halloween hat or wig. Brit chose the
Afro,
Kenadee had the red witch's hat, and
Brylee had the pumpkin beanie.

There is my cutie pie!

Our "Monster" dinner consisted of witch's fingers (the bread stick),
Frankenstein's brains (beef
stroganoff), monster mouths (apple with fruit roll up tongue and almond pieces as teeth), spider eggs (fruit salad),
goblin's hearts (red bell pepper).
Kenadee had a great time coming up with names
for the food.
Kenadee wasn't so sure about having worms in her witch's potion (her lemonade).

After dinner we got to carve pumpkins. And
Kenadee wasn't so sure about putting her had in the slimy pumpkin either. There were quite a few "Not so sure" moments this night for Kenadee.

I still haven't figured out how to turn my flash off so the pictures of the pumpkins aren't that great.
Kenadee and I carved a mermaid (pumpkin on the right), and Brit make a friendly jack-o-lantern.

I had to throw this picture in there.
Kenadee had a fire safety day at school last week and "real" fire fighter came and all the kids got to see the fire truck. She was pretty excited. Well she got to bring a firefighters hat home. Of course she had to try it on
Brylee.
Brylee enjoyed wearing the hat. She kept turning around trying to figure out what is on her head. I sure love these cute girls!
