Most Eggcelent Easter Weekend!

We had such an awesome Easter weekend. We took a trip to Mesa to spend the weekend with our family and to take part of the blessing of our newest niece Allie Rain Haws. Notice the egg with the star. Well this was Kenadee's special egg she made and she would not let anyone hide it to be found during the Easter egg hunt. She was very proud of that Easter egg.

What is Easter without coloring some Easter eggs. Here is Kenadee and daddy getting ready to color some eggs.

The table full of nieces and nephews coloring the eggs. Good idea to take the table outside!

The hunt is on for those Easter eggs.

This is the facial expression we got when we told Kenadee to break her eggs open to eat them. She wasn't very excited about that. She wanted to keep all her eggs she found. Logan didn't have any kind of problem with that.

After the Easter egg hunt there was a balloon toss game set up for the kids. Well it quickly turned into a water fight, much more fun that way!

And of course the adults had to get involved. Brit got an unexpected handful of cake in his face by no other than Jeremy. He may get an unexpected surprise on some future date, and he better not complain about it (Revenge can be sweet). Posted by Brit.

I ended up making Kenadee a tutu for Easter. She loves ballet so much she was excited that she will be able to wear a "real" ballerina tutu. I just love little girls!

Here is Kenadee going through her Easter basket. She must have been a pretty good little girl since the Easter bunny brought her all kinds of goodies.
Here is our nieces Maddy (2) and Shayde (3), and then of course Kenadee (4) in their Easter dresses. We sure have some cute girls in our family. Easter weekend was such a blast for our family. Thanks Nick and Maria for having a beautiful daughter and gave us a 2nd excuse for getting together to celebrate Easter with our family.

Maybe if K wears her tutu to dance Callie will wear hers. My sister made her a big one like that a long time ago & Callie recently told me it was too big to wear to dance! I love your first collage on the post - AMAZING pictures!
