We took my mom and Mike on a kayaking trip down the Verde River. My mom has never paddled a kayak before so this was something new for her. If you knew my mom this was a big step for her. First of all, she doesn't like to be out in the sun because of her Lupus. She reacts to the sun so she had to wear a long sleeve shirt and pants. So we took the earliest tour that we could so it wouldn't be too hot for her. For her to get out and try something new and unknown to her is also a big step for her. I proud of you mom for expanding your horizons and taking the courage to do this with us!
