The Haws family had their annual Labor Day camp out near Camp Geronimo.
Even if the quads are parked the kids love to sit and pretend they are driving it.
The girls have played "Indians" for the past few camp outs and this camp out was no exception. They made war paint with sunblock.
And then they added dirt.
My Nat!
Brit, Jeremy, and Nick went on a motorcycle ride and a rattle snake was striking at them as they drove by so they stopped to take a look and it was aggressive. So they ended up cutting off its head and brought it back to camp. And of course all my girls wanted to hold it, except me. I stood back and took the pictures.
Yuck!
Even brave little Natalee wanted to hold it.
Shayde didn't want to hold it but she would stand by it and touch it.
We took a family hike leaving from our camp site.
We found all kids of great grubs like this prickly caterpillar. Brylee tried to pick it up and it poked her. She wasn't too happy about that.
Found all kings of wild blackberries.
Uncle Jeremy, Shayde, Maddi, and Avery. Aunt Sherry stayed back with little Railey.
This little munchkin will not smile for me for nothin'!
Sayde and Kenadee...best cousins!
Best dad around!
And the kids sure got dirty, and I mean REAL dirty!
Natalee lovin' her spaghetti!
Love camp fires, roasting marshmallows, and "remember when" stories!
We love getting together with family, especially camping together! Happy Labor Day!
