Halloween 2012

Here we are, except for me since I seem to be behind the camera most of the time.  The girls had so much fun dressing up this year.
Kenadee was anxious to dress up as a witch.  She knew months before that she wanted to be a witch for Halloween.  And she also wanted her face painted green.

And of course Brylee wanted to be what her older sister was.  We had a tub full of Halloween costumes, but she didn't want to be any of those things. She wanted to be a witch like her sister.  So refusing to spend money on a costume when we had multiple options for her right here at home I decided to turn her Fall dance recital dress into a witches dress.  So all I had to buy were the stockings.  And she also wanted green hair and a green face.  She turned out pretty cute I should say!

And our sweet Natalee was an elephant.  And she made such a cute little elephant!
 The two witches! Scary!

They had a children's parade so they could showcase their costumes.  Here the girls marching in the parade.
And our smiley Brylee too.
We have a tradition to have a SPOOKY Halloween dinner.  This year we invited the Fish's to join us.  Our tradition includes everyone wearing a hat during dinner. Here is Kenadee and Raylee in their hats.
And Brylee and Kace in theirs.
And TC and Desiree in theirs.

Our menu included black bats, ghost mashed potatoes, witches fingers bread sticks, veggie tray with the dip inside a pumpkin, and our spooky drink with fog (dry ice).
The girls look forward to our Spooky dinner every year.  We are so glad that they had such a great time eating spooky food and happy we were able to share our tradition with the Fish family.  Happy Halloween!
