I love Thanksgiving since it is a reminder to us of the many great blessings that we have been blessed with. Our family has so many things to be greatful for this Thanksgiving season and Natalee is one of those great blessings. She has made so many great strides in her growth and development. They are now preparing her to make the transition to go home in the next few weeks. She will soon be bottle feeding and they are getting ready to take her off her oxygen. She now weighs 3 pounds 9 ounces. We know all her great progress has been by the hand our our Heavenly Father. He is the One that all things are possible. We are truly thankful for this experience we have had with Natalee since it was a reminder of how fragile life is and that prayers are answered. We will never take for granted the small and simple things in life again. We love our daughter very much and is so thankful that we will be raising her here in this life.
Here are two more blessing we have in our lives: Kenadee and Brylee. These girls are so beautiful and precious! They are holding these balloon characters because we had a family bring us dinner and the husband made these for the girls. We have had so much support within our ward. We have families still bringing dinners to Brit when he is home alone with the girls even being 8 weeks later.
Our family is another of those great blessings in our lives. Our family members have been so great in providing a place to stay while we are visiting Natalee and been so kind to watch our children while we are at the hospital. Here is my awesome sister-in-law Maria holding Natalee for the first time. She is one of the few people that are allowed to visit Natalee on the days we can't be there. Thank you Maria, we love you! We wouldn't be able to get through this difficult time without people like her and many of our other family memebers. We have been blessed in so many ways and we are so greatful for the support, prayers, love, and service that we have been given on this jouney of getting Natalee home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
