We are in full swing making over our new house. When we first bought this house there were a few things that we wanted to change like the paint color and we tore out the vinyl wood floors (which weren't in good shape) and added carpet to the bedrooms and living room. We had Brit's sisters and Mom come and help us paint one weekend. It was really great having their help. Here we are painting the living room.
Brit is the greatest handyman! He is adding custom shelving to all the closets. He is truly talented! After he is finished with this he plans on adding bead board to Kenadee's bedroom and building a built in entertainment center in the living room. We can't wait to show you some of our before and after pictures.
We are so excited to have all this extra land with our house. We have 2 1/2 acres with our property. None of it is landscaped yet, but that is another thing to come in the future. We see a lot of wildlife around our house. One of the girls' favorite things is when we raise up our blinds at dinner time and watch all the rabbits that are in our front yard. Brylee points her finger and says excitedly "babbits!" It' too cute!
Here are the girls watching out our kitchen window looking at the "babbits". Kenadee has fun trying to figure out which ones are the mama rabbits. The girls also have the greatest time catching lizards. We are enjoying the process of turning our house into our home.
