Easter Camping!

Brit's family has a tradition to camp over Easter weekend.  Because Brit's parents were getting back soon off their mission many of his siblings wanted to wait to camp so they could get together and camp with his parents came back.  We wanted to go ahead and camp on this special weekend and take that opportunity to just camp with our family.
There were a lot of dirt bike rides.
At our camp ground there was a fort already put together that the kids had a great time playing in.

Everything was so green and flower blooming everywhere.  There was a creek near our campground and the kids had a blast playing in it.

Grandpa even came out to visit with us during Saturday.

It wouldn't be an Easter camp out with out coloring the Easter egg.s

What dad was doing while the girls colored the eggs.
And then they had fun going on an egg hunt.

Sunday morning the girls woke up and their Easter baskets were hiding outside in the woods and they had to hunt for them.

 The girls love this tradition!

After we got home I prepared a meal of food that was eaten during Christs time. I laid out some blankets and we ate in the living room on the floor.  The menu consisted of olives, nuts, oranges, pineapple, pita bread, goat cheese, and goats milk.  The girls weren't too sure about the goats milk.  We had a spiritual lesson on Easter and it was a perfect way to celebrate Easter.  We love our Easter traditions!
