They had a train that would drive you around the community and our first stop off the train was Brigham Young's house. We got to tour inside his actual house, it was quite interesting. This was the actual color of his house. When we were on the tour they mentioned how pink was the masculine color and blue was the feminine color back then.
You can see the school in the background. These were the original buildings back then. They took them apart and brought them to the Heritage park and set them up as they were.
We got a change to do some pioneer games. Here is a game called "Milk the Bear." It teaches the kids how to milk a cow/goat.
Kenadee got to see how they washed their clothes back then.
And Brylee got to see how they ironed their clothes. The iron was sure heavy for Brylee!
They even plowed the fields.
Glad we got to see the Heritage park. It made the girls a little more appreciative of what we have.
