We had the Haws family Christmas party this year after Christmas. It was nice doing it that way since everything seems to be squeezed in right before Christmas. The kids did their traditional Bingo game and we had delicious food as always.
Here are a few of the kids. I was not very good this year by bringing my camera so I used my cell phone for pictures. They didn't turn out very good.
I put together a Christmas Minute to Win It game and it was such a blast! Here is Joe, Mom, and Ron with pantyhose on their heads. The object of this game was to knock down 8 water bottles by swinging a tennis ball that was in one of the legs of the pantyhose and knocking the water bottles down. There was balancing ornaments on a yard stick and paper towel (Brit and Nick won this event), sticking a pom pom that was sewn to a ribbon and swinging it from the mouth to try to land the pom pom on the nose covered with Vaseline (Jordan won this event), having a pedometer connected to a head sweat band and a person jumps up and down shaking their heads to get the highest count (this was hillarious and Shelley won this event), and finally getting a cookie from the forehead to the mouth without using hands (Dad won this event).I didn't get many pictures since I was trying to host and run the game. Everyone had such a fun time and it was great to have the family laugh a lot together!
