A Tree for Kambry

Every house that we have owned we have planted a tree in Kambry's name on her birthday.  This year was no exception.  I can't believe it has been 10 years since our Kambry has gone to live with our Father in Heaven.  Even though she wasn't here on this Earth for very long she will not be forgotten.  Kambry was our daughter that was born Aug 28, 2002. I was 24 weeks pregnant with her and she came early.  She was our first born child and this was a very difficult time for Brit and I.  Even though it has been 10 years I still think of her often.  I often think about what she may have looked like all grown up or what personality she may have had. I think that anyone that may have ever lost a child that there is always a hole in their heart. It was almost 2 years later that we were blessed to have our beautiful Kenadee. We have this tradition to honor her and to help teach our children about her. Here are the girls getting ready to do some tree planting.
Brit taking the girls on a ride in the wheel barrow.
The girls getting down and dirty filling up those holes with the good dirt.
We not only planted a tree for Kambry we planted a tree for every family member.
Here is Kenadee with Kambry's tree.
What a big helper!  Gotta love her tree planting attire! This girl lives in her swimsuit.
Daddy is expert in tree planting. Thanks for being so great dad!
 Love this guy!
 And love these girls too!
Kenadee with the completion of Kambry's tree.  We look forward in watching this tree grow so it's a constant reminder of her.
We even had a birthday cake for her. Kenadee was such a big help in lighting the candles.
The girls blowing out the candles. Happy birthday Kambry! We love you!  We are so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are grateful for the knowledge of Eternal families and I know that we will be reunited with Kambry after this life. I look forward to that reunion. I am grateful for my family and I am so blessed to be the mom to these beautiful girls.

Natalee all bathed and ready for bed.  Thanks mom for watching Natalee while we dug in the dirt. It was a long evening planting that many trees but it was a good memory for my girls and a constant reminder of our Sweet Kambry.
