Brit's oldest sister Shannon entered her first body building competition. Shannon is 38 years old and a mother of 4. Shannon never imagined doing something like this until her trainer at her local gym talked her into doing one. She trained for six months and took up a strict diet. There were 111 competitors from many different states and about 1/3 of those were men.
She looks amazing!
In this competition each competitor is allowed to enter 2 categories. Shannon took second in one category which was her age group.
And took 1st in her second category which was "Short Physique". It's not very common for a first time competitor to take first place. There were some many family members there cheering her on. She had a few other competitors tell her that she had the whole crowd cheering for her. What an accomplishment, we are so proud of her! Way to go Shannon!!!
