This year for New Year's Eve we decided to stay home with the kids and make it a night for them.
Kenadee had one of her good friends
Keagan stay over. So we pulled out the games and had a game night with the kids.

Dad even got in on the action!

Of course we had to have some treats between the games.
Snookies (a cookie baked in a small tart pan with ice cream on top) Yummy!

We broke out the sparklers to help us ring in the new year. It only being 9:00, but the kids didn't know that.

Brylee was in awe with the sparklers. When her sparkler would burn out she would bring us the stick and say "again."

The kids had so much fun doing the sparklers. They were so disappointed when it was over.
Keagan brought over these tents for the them to sleep in. They were excited to go to bed and sleep in them so they didn't give us any grief when it was bedtime.

The girls all had such a fun time celebrating the new year.
Kenadee literally cried when
Keagan went home that next morning. We look forward to what 2011 brings our family. Happy New Year!
